Ohayashi Nabs PAA Outstanding Hitter Award Monday, October 7th, 2030 Shigenobu Ohayashi of the Myrtle Beach Mermen had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2030. The 21-year-old center fielder put up a .271 average and a .361 on-base percentage, piling up 100 hits, 13 doubles, 4 triples, 13 home runs, 55 RBIs and 61 runs scored. Orlando Casillas of the Richland Rails finished second in voting, while Maik Palen of the Myrtle Beach Mermen finished third. |
