Bottone Rips Westwood for 5 Hits Saturday, May 18th, 2030 Colin Bottone put on a hitting clinic today as the Athletic Club KC Academy dumped the Westwood Sixshooters 11-2 at Sixshooters Stadium. The Athletic Club KC Academy second baseman made Westwood defenders earn their pay, lashing Westwood pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it." "Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Bottone said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch." Colin Bottone hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ray Mangas in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tye Collyer in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
