Martínez Nixed as Manager by Thunder Hawks Monday, October 14th, 2030 Howard Martínez has been released as the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks manager. Thunder Hawks officials said it is time to make a change and get the club headed in a different direction. The dismissed skipper was philosophical about his fate. "When things don't go right, the first thing management does is get a new manager," he said. "That seems to be the quickest solution to making things better -- or at least, making them seem better. That's just the way baseball is." |
