Ismael Padilla Out for Season Sunday, August 11th, 2030 A blow for Ismael Padilla today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 11 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Padilla suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Houston BC are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Padilla's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Padilla has made 6 starts, tossed 59 innings, struck out 26 batters and walked 38. His record is 3-3 with a 5.64 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .315 batting average. |
