Freska Grabs SAAA Outstanding Pitcher Award Tuesday, October 8th, 2030 When the call went out to the Bloomington bullpen in 2030, Atila Freska proved equal to the task. Whether he was brought in to squelch a rally or just finish the game, Freska gave his best at each opportunity. As a result, today the Longnecks reliever was named the latest USSL Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He made 3 relief appearances, logging 109.1 innings and no saves this season. He racked up 88 strikeouts, a 9-2 record and an ERA of 3.13. Damien Hayward of the Gryfindor Braves finished second in voting, while Santo Velazco of the Vermont Lake Monsters finished third. |
