Flyers Francisco Suspended Sunday, August 25th, 2030 Raśl Francisco was incensed today after he was suspended by the commissioner's office for 3 games following a wild argument at the Pennsauken-Sioux Falls game. The league cited the Flyers shortstop for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," in the notification letter. Francisco strongly objected to a questionable call by the home plate umpire and was ejected. "Ejection? Maybe. But not suspension. It's ludicrous is what it is. It's totally uncalled for. I have no idea why. You have to ask the people in the league office that wear the coats and ties and don't get on the field. I didn't cause the altercation, the umpire did. It was a lousy call." Francisco is hitting .198 this year with 2 home runs and 13 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .209, 1 walk and scored 9 times. |
