3AAA Player of the Week, Pérez of Augusta Monday, May 27th, 2030 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week José Pérez of the Augusta Timber Hawks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Pérez rocked opposing pitching for a .583 average (7-for-12), 1 home run and 2 RBIs to come away with the award. Pérez is hitting .354 so far this season with 7 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 23 hits including 2 home runs, 17 walks and .488 OBP. |
