Rocky Mountain Ace Wins SL Outstanding Pitcher Award Saturday, November 2nd, 2030 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2030 has been presented and the United States Silver League winner is Juan Guillén of Rocky Mountain. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Guillén. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Nuggets star told reporters. Guillén excelled with an impressive 18-3 record in 26 starts. In 182.2 innings he yielded 139 hits and 45 walks, while striking out 196 and compiling a fine 2.02 ERA. Walt Coffman of the New Amsterdam Dutchmen finished second in voting, while Giovanni Mireles of the Portland Evergreens finished third. |
