John Ennis Named Premier SL Player Saturday, November 2nd, 2030 The manager of the Portland Evergreens said he thinks John Ennis is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 26, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2030 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the United States Silver League Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .314 batting average and a .419 on-base percentage this year. In 108 games he piled up 130 hits, 18 doubles, 6 triples, 19 home runs, 68 RBIs and 85 runs scored. Jesús Reyes of the Athletic Club KC finished second in voting, while Chris Payling of the Portland Evergreens finished third. |
