Portland's Hopper Chosen SL Batter of the Month Tuesday, October 1st, 2030 Dewitt Hopper may be much younger than other hitters in the United States Silver League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old Portland left fielder hit .393 with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Hopper is hitting .342 so far this season with 41 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 51 hits including 16 home runs, 20 walks and .420 OBP. |
