Yandell Hits in 20 Straight Games
Monday, August 19th, 2030
The Washington Generals may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 5-4 to the Walla Walla Walleye, but Daryl Yandell continued to hit like a god.

The catcher collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games.

"Yandell is playing great and is on fire right now," Generals manager Jacob Curtis said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."

Yandell was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss."
Daryl Yandell tripled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and walked in the 8th.

Yandell is hitting .337 this year with 12 home runs and 46 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .408, 33 walks and scored 38 times.
