River Rats, Wasmund Blank Yellowknife Monday, July 29th, 2030 21-year-old Columbia River Rats pitcher Marvin Wasmund had a strong outing against the Yellowknife Dragonblood at Columbia Stadium today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 9 in the 2-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 3 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. So far this year Wasmund has made 11 starts, tossed 83.2 innings, struck out 88 batters and walked 11. His record is 6-3 with a 1.72 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .183 batting average.
