Tula, Prieto Blank Hammond Wednesday, July 17th, 2030 Andrew Prieto of the Chicago Tula spun his magic on the Hammond Herons today. He blanked them 8-0 on 2 hits, registering 9 strikeouts and 2 walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Prieto said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Chicago skipper Coy Knight said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations." "Andrew pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said. So far this year Prieto has made 12 starts, tossed 81.2 innings, struck out 71 batters and walked 27.
