Yandell Slaps 5 Hits Friday, June 21st, 2030 Daryl Yandell of the Generals was unstoppable in today's 19-4 victory over the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Washington catcher after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Daryl Yandell hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Raśl Romero in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Tex Fountas in the 6th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
