Chun Rips Walla Walla for 5 Hits Monday, June 10th, 2030 River Rats shortstop Ju-hyung Chun had his way with Walla Walla pitching today at Columbia Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Walleye ruined his great day by toppling the River Rats, 5-3. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Walla Walla credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Chun did today," Walleye skipper Leo Sargent said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Ju-hyung Chun singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Chun is hitting .176 so far this season with 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
