Weaver Nixed as Manager by River Rats Thursday, November 7th, 2030 Richard Weaver has been released as the Columbia River Rats manager. River Rats officials said it is time to make a change and get the club headed in a different direction. The dismissed skipper was philosophical about his fate. "When things don't go right, the first thing management does is get a new manager," he said. "That seems to be the quickest solution to making things better -- or at least, making them seem better. That's just the way baseball is." |
