Pérez on Fire, Strikes out 16 Expos Friday, August 9th, 2030 Cisco Pérez of the Grim Reapers put on a pitching clinic today at The Coffin as he struck out 16 Niagara Falls Expos in a 2-0 victory. Pérez, who is tied for 9th in the SA with a 1.11 WHIP, was simply magnificent as he held the Expos to 4 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Pérez said, "but eventually my curveball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Pérez's performance, Reapers manager Dale Wolfe shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating." So far this year Pérez has made 18 starts, tossed 126.1 innings, struck out 185 batters and walked 45. His record is 11-4 with a 3.13 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .207 batting average.
