D.C. No Match for Nishida Sunday, August 18th, 2030 Keisuke Nishida of the Chicago Gold Sox humiliated the D.C. Divided at Gold Sox Field today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 5 hits. "He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth, after the game. Nishida whiffed 7 and walked 3 in the 1-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Nishida said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." So far this year Nishida has made 20 starts, tossed 136.1 innings, struck out 88 batters and walked 38. His record is 7-8 with a 4.09 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .252 batting average.
