Northern Virginia's Raúl Gómez Suffers Setback Tuesday, October 8th, 2030 The road to recovery is going to be a little longer for Northern Virginia starting pitcher Raúl Gómez. The team announced today that Gómez suffered a setback in his rehabilitation and will not return to the roster for at least 6 days. He is being treated for an elbow sprain. So far this year Gómez has made 24 starts, tossed 155.1 innings, struck out 120 batters and walked 35. His record is 10-4 with a 2.49 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .221 batting average. |
