Behind a solid performance from right fielder Rick Mayfield, the Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the Philadelphia 1776 BC, 5-3. Mayfield went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Cattlemen. Gustavo Pérez, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher.
