It was a good time at Field of the Middies, where fans came to watch the New Amsterdam Dutchmen and Grafton Middies get after it.

Grafton first baseman Lúcio López was instrumental in his team's 14-0 win over the New Amsterdam Dutchmen. López, who is tied for 9th in the SL in home runs with 6, went 1-2 with 4 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Middies. Grafton is now 17-14.

López had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the eighth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Middies went on to win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," López told the Grafton Herald. "It's as simple as that."
