DH Castro Lights Up Cattlemen for 6 RBIs as Pandas Extend Lead
The Montana Pandas moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the visiting Ft. Worth Cattlemen at Panda Park by a score of 12-8. Pandas designated hitter Melvin Castro was named player of the game after he went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The win gives the Pandas a - advantage in the best-of- Third League Championship.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the seventh when Castro, who is tied for 9th in the 3L in doubles with 10, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Pandas into the lead, 10-8.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Castro said after the game.
