Portland first baseman John Ennis had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Grafton Middies, 14-5. Gerald Keller got the win, improving to 3-1. He worked 6 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. Kent Clement finished the game for Portland and earned his 3rd save.

Ennis had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the eighth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Evergreens went on to win.

"We maximized our offense today," said Portland skipper Imran Baig. "That makes everyone's life easier."
