The South Beach Blaze went home winners at Idaho Falls Park, thanks in large part to starter Shaun Mahle. Mahle silenced the Idaho Falls Chukars, enabling South Beach to grab the 6-1 win. Mahle got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. Mahle allowed 1 earned run. The Blaze improved to a lofty 61-25.

In the top of the fourth inning, first baseman Noah Martone came through big-time for the Blaze. With South Beach leading 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.

"This was a good win for us," said Martone. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
