South Beach Hot Streak Continues with 4-1 Win
|
South Beach Blaze starter Aaron Briggs turned in a top-notch performance against the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark. The result was a win for the Blaze, 4-1. South Beach improves to 52-20 with the win. They lead their division by 9 games.
The Blaze got a big at-bat from center fielder Serious Lee. For the game, Lee was 1 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 14th double of the season gave South Beach a 3-1 lead.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said South Beach manager Pedro Ritodíaz. "It's usually not just one thing."
