Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Chukars
|
The Idaho Falls Chukars got a magnificent performance from pitcher Albert Sierra, who muffled the Phoenix offense en route to a tight 2-1 Chukars win at Idaho Falls Park. Phoenix's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Shih-k'ai Sima had a chance to end it. Phoenix pitcher Neal Burns had other ideas. But with one out, Sima hit a sacrifice fly. The Chukars had the win.
"Feels good to get the job done," Sierra said after the game.
