Gaddi Rips New Amsterdam for 5 Hits
Stefano Gaddi put on a hitting clinic today as the Grafton Middies dumped the New Amsterdam Dutchmen 7-5 at Dutch Master Park.

The Grafton third baseman made New Amsterdam defenders earn their pay, lashing New Amsterdam pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Gaddi said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Stefano Gaddi singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and doubled in the 10th.
