Chiefs Rally to Eke Out Win
The Connetquot Chiefs topped the Niagara Falls Expos, 5-4, in USSL Single A action at The Big Teepee. The player of the game was Connetquot pitcher Mike Larsen. Larsen, now 4-11, was the winner. In 11 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 9, walking 3, and allowing 4 earned runs. The Chiefs now have a record of 33-44 with the win over Niagara Falls.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the 11th. With Connetquot trailing 4-3, Wilson López hit a sinker from Tony Wolfe to right for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Chiefs had a walk-off win.
