Bulls Pull Even With 4-3 Victory
The Mt. Vernon Bulls turned back the Niagara Falls Expos, 4-3, at Waterfall Park. Tom Chagolla was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 2-3 with a double and a walk. Mt. Vernon reliever Joseph Barrier picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jesús Vidro was saddled with the loss. Mt. Vernon goes to 10-10, Niagara Falls to 9-11.

Orlando Montejo chipped in for Mt. Vernon, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a walk.

"We put together a nice win," Montejo said.
