Despite a fine performance by second baseman Orlando Casillas, the Richland Rails suffered a 7-4 loss to the Asheville Highlanders. Casillas hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Asheville, at 30-44, occupies last place in the Premier AA.

In the top of the first inning, second baseman Robert Hillier came through big-time for the Highlanders. With Asheville leading 2-0, he belted a 3-run home run.

"Enjoyed this one," Hillier told the Asheville Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
