Victory Pushes Rails Record to 10-8
|
The Richland Rails and Lannister United Lionhearts played a tight game at Rails Ballpark, with the hosts claiming the hard-fought win.
Poto Scacceri pitched a gem to lead Richland to a 3-1 victory over the Lannister United Lionhearts. With their winning streak at 4, the Rails have raced to a strong start this season.
It could have been a different outcome for Richland, had it not been for Tan Bal, the 26-year old second baseman . Bal contributed a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the seventh inning to put Richland up, 2-1.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Scacceri said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
