Highlanders Drop Another One
The Tacoma Fur Traders downed the Asheville Highlanders, 5-2, at Ballpark of Tacoma. Yao-pang Chiang led the way, going 3-for-4 for Tacoma. The Highlanders, at 2-10, have stumbled out of the gate.

Tacoma left fielder Mike Lipide contributed to the cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Lipide was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Lipide.
