The Richland Rails got a superb performance from right fielder Luo-lang Li. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Minnesota. The Loons won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Li was named the player of the game. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Minnesota improves to 6-5 as they look to defend their championship.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Minnesota first baseman António Zúñiga, facing Ron Armstrong, had a run-scoring triple. It gave the Loons the 5-4 win.

"It feels good to get that win," said Zúñiga. "Now it's on to the next one."
