Tritons Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Targaryens
The Jersey City Tritons bested the Royse City Targaryens, 7-5, at Jersey City Grounds. Ed Adams was named player of the game. He was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Jersey City reliever Jesús Colón picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Emershan Naidoo was saddled with the loss. Howard Vidaurri, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 9th save.

Had Marcos Alfaro not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Alfaro hit a bases-clearing double. That made the score 7-5, in favor of the Tritons.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Adams said after the game.
