Big Day by Sashi Sparks Grasshoppers Win
|
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers trumped the Billings Polar Bears, 11-5, at Field of the Grasshoppers. San Bernardino center fielder Arana Sashi was named player of the game for his performance. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. San Bernardino is now 15-18, Billings 13-20.
Sashi had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second, when he hit a grand slam. The Grasshoppers went on to win.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Sashi.
