The Montana Pandas bested the Greenville 84s by a score of 6-0, with designated hitter Melvin Castro getting the main credit. On the day, Castro went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Pandas. The Pandas saw their record improve to 44-46.

Chris McKinney had a big run-scoring double for the Pandas in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Montana leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a splitter from Eric Matson and stroked the double to right-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pandas ahead, 2-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," McKinney told the Montana Gazette. "It's as simple as that."
