The Tortolita Drummers got a strong performance from pitcher Dave Seals, who stymied the Bloomington offense en route to a 4-2 win at Lookouts Ballpark. In 7 innings, Seals surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. Briggs Bourgeois, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save.

In the top of the third, Steve Costillo hit a 2-run triple for Tortolita. The 3rd triple of the season for the Tortolita third baseman put the Drummers on top, 2-1.

"This is not a one-man show," said Seals. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
