Late Rally by Disaster Secures Win
Fans who came to Ballpark of Port Royal watched the Port Royal Disaster and the Bloomington Longnecks fight to the finish.

Behind a solid performance from right fielder Javier Martínez, the Port Royal Disaster defeated the Bloomington Longnecks, 5-4. Martínez was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Disaster. Port Royal reliever Alfredo Hernández picked up the win, upping his record to 6-3. Anaías Pedroza was saddled with the loss.

The Disaster were down to their final out when pinch hitter Wrangler Haresnape turned a 0-2 sinker from Anaías Pedroza into a 2-run double. The walk-off double made the Ballpark of Port Royal crowd go wild.

Haresnape said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."

Port Royal now sits at 35-42, while Bloomington falls to 52-25.
