Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Supernovas
Scranton center fielder Senior Pond was instrumental in his team's 4-3 win over the Vermont Lake Monsters. Pond, who is tied for 9th in the SAAA in triples with 3, went 4-5 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Supernovas. Scranton bumps their record to 30-40 with the win.

Pond had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a first pitch knuckle curve from Javier López, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Supernovas a 4-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Pond.

In postgame comments, Pond said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
