5 Straight Wins for Patriots
Both teams had their chances, but the Boston Patriots eventually prevailed at Dunkin Donuts Park.

The Boston Patriots did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Vancouver Grey Wolves at Dunkin Donuts Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Jesús Franco, who captured player of the game honors. Jorge Aguirre converted his 3rd save in 6 tries.

Jorge Velázquez went 1 for 2 for Boston. The 25-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Nelle Liefting. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Franco told reporters after the game.

The Patriots bumped their record to 29-27 with this latest triumph.
