Big Day by Barquero Ignites Misfits Win
The Salem Misfits topped the Long Island Seawolves by the score of 9-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Robinson Barquero. Barquero was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Misfits on the day. With the win, the Misfits improved to 38-49.

Early in the game, Barquero had a 2-run home run for Salem. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Misfits on top, 2-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Barquero told the Salem Chronicle. "It's as simple as that."
