The Lancaster Farmers defeated the Long Island Seawolves, 5-1, in USSL Double A action at Farmers Field, with Lancaster pitcher Benedicto Castellon named player of the game. Castellon got the win, improving to 6-5. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. Castellon allowed 1 earned run. Lancaster, at 43-38, sits in 4th place in the Silver AA.

In the bottom of the 6th, third baseman Woodrow Terrebonne gave Lancaster the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Farmers had been trailing 1-0, but the two-out double off Long Island pitcher Jamey Crockett changed that -- and Lancaster went on to win.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Castellon told the Lancaster Times.
