Victory Pushes Rainbow Mermaids Record to 28-17
|
The Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids got a strong performance from pitcher Aurelio López, who stymied the Richardson City offense en route to a 6-2 win at Atlantica. In 7 innings, López surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The Rainbow Mermaids have an impressive 28-17 record.
The Rainbow Mermaids got a big at-bat from second baseman Colt Cabana. For the game, Cabana went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
