New Orleans Wins, Giroux has 3 hit day
|
Arnold Giroux left his imprint on the 8-5 New Orleans win against the Houston 1837 BBC. Giroux, who is rated as the 58th best prospect by BNN, went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. New Orleans is now 20-13.
Giroux had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Roy Alsobrook, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Voodoo a 4-2 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Giroux.
