Season Ends for Jesús Román of Richland Wednesday, August 29th, 2029 The season is ending on a bad note for Jesús Román, center fielder for the Richland Rails. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Román was hurt against the Salem Misfits while making a defensive play. He suffered a broken bone in the elbow and will be out for at least 5 months. Román is hitting .276 so far this season with 27 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 47 hits including 5 home runs, 22 walks and .356 OBP. |
