Worobtsoff and Farley Brawl, League Suspends Them Friday, August 17th, 2029 After an intense confrontation, both the BC Zhenya Worobtsoff and the Lionhearts Earl Farley were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent San Antonio-Lannister United game. Both players will miss 8 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Zhenya Worobtsoff commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Worobtsoff is hitting .287 this year with 3 home runs and 28 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .320, 11 walks and scored 38 times. In the current season in 16 starts, Earl Farley has a record of 1-7 with 72 strikeouts in 92.1 innings and a 4.48 ERA. |
