Player of the Week Honor to Salem Pitcher Monday, September 17th, 2029 Youth was served last week as 25-year-old Lorenzo Valverde put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other USPL Double A pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Salem Misfits hurler rang up 3 strikeouts in 12 innings, compiling an ERA of 1.50 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. To date this year, Valverde shows a 9-8 record, 22 starts, 124 innings, 71 strikeouts and a 4.50 ERA. |
