Summey Nabs SAAA Weekly Award Monday, August 20th, 2029 Kent Summey burst onto the USSL Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie shortstop for Scranton garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 26-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .429 (6-for-14) with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs last week. For the season, Summey is hitting at a .228 clip with 14 home runs, 43 RBIs and has scored 36 runs. He has 59 hits, 37 walks and a .329 on-base percentage. |
