Humpbacks Chill Rosales's Hot Streak Saturday, July 28th, 2029 It was the best of both worlds for the Alaskan Humpbacks today at Sea World as they defeated the Calgary Lynx 3-0 and also snapped Miguel Rosales's 22-game hitting streak. The 26-year-old Calgary right fielder failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats. "Nothing personal against Rosales, we just wanted to win the game," said Humpbacks skipper Karim Moulin. "We did a great job keeping him off-balance and guessing." When asked by reporters about his streak coming to an end, Rosales frowned and said, "I won't lie and say that I'm not disappointed about it, but I'd feel much better if we had won." In 61 games Rosales is hitting .342 this season with 82 hits, 3 home runs, 31 RBIs, 15 walks, .382 OBP and has scored 28 runs. |
