Phil Moore Named Premier SAAA Player Tuesday, October 9th, 2029 He may have less experience than most of his USSL Triple A peers, but that didn't slow Phil Moore down at all in 2029. At the age of 22, the Scranton third baseman has been named the winner of the USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .310 batting average and a .366 on-base percentage this year. In 102 games he piled up 130 hits, 34 doubles, no triples, 14 home runs, 70 RBIs and 66 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." José López of the Alaskan Humpbacks finished second in voting, while Ricardo Pacheco of the Tortolita Drummers finished third. |
